Jim, the "Head Wren" is a versatile singer, musician, poet, songwriter and storyteller, performing traditional Irish, American, Scottish, folk, and contemporary music. He is an extraordinary performer on guitar, banjo, tin whistle, harmonica and mountain dulcimer. Jim has been an integral part of the Detroit music scene for many years and has played in just about every possible kind of nook and cranny during his career. Folk clubs, Irish pubs, schools, museums, and festivals have welcomed him. He and daughter Alison have performed at the Kennedy Center and the Irish Embassy.
